Items We Accept Conditionally: Furniture, including mattresses and box-springs -No rips, tears, stains, burns, pet hair, odors, holes, excessive or deep scratches. Clothing must be clean, free of stains, tears, holes, odors, moisture. Small appliances and electrical devices must be in good working order and free of safety defects. At home pickup-items must be outside at ground level, or in-home at ground level, or garage, isolated to one area with easy access. Donor must be present for in-home and garage pick-ups. Appliances must be disconnected*. Items such as beds must be disassembled. *Except: Refrigerators, freezers, and air conditioners must be plugged in and running. Drivers and donation site attendants have authority to accept or decline items. Thank you for your understanding. The cost of donation collection and processing and the cost of disposal of unusable items make these requirements necessary.
